Shown on this page are photos of MPPH projects currently under way (right column) and projects we have been able to complete (left column) thanks to the generous support of MPPH donors.  As a result, thousands of children and their families have been provided the necessities of life and, more significantly, opportunities to help them break free from the chains of poverty.

New Dormitory

A new girls dormitory is being built to provide private living quarters to over 200 teenage girls that were previously sleeping in an outside veranda (see picture) with no beds or personal living quarters. This new facility (artists rendering below) will offer the following:

  • Sleeping and living quarters
  • Showers and bathrooms
  • A courtyard
  • Dining area

Projects Completed

Temporary Dormitory
This temporary facility, pictured to the left, was dedicated in January, 2006 for use until the new dormitory (right) is completed in January, 2007. This facility serves as the temporary sleeping quarters for almost 200 girls, providing shelter from the external elements. This facility was funded through the combined donations of 5 MPPH Partners.

Transportation
This van was donated by an MPPH family to help transport medical and dental personnel to the different orphanages to provide care for the children and villagers of India. It also serves as transportation for bringing workers and supplies from far away cities to the rural villages and compounds. This provides a necessary need for supporting the efforts of IREF.

Clothing
An 8-year old MPPH Friend cracked her piggy bank to provide these 2nd grade children with new shoes! This is just one example of the many ways that funds can be used to provide for children who have only one set of clothes. In addition to providing clothes for daily needs, MPPH hopes to provide one set of dress clothes for the children at Christmas.
